What is a Care Champion? They are the unsung heroes of our community – giving of themselves every day to make sure our patients and their families receive quality and compassionate care. They give comfort and hope to those who need it the most.

Why was Dr. Walter recognized? A donation from a grateful patient was made to the Citrus Valley Health Foundation to honor the Dr. Walter as a Care Champion.

Each Care Champion receives a Care Champion pin to wear, a Certificate of Recognition with their photo and a pre-printed thank you card to send to the donor.
